Born in 1998, Turkish pianist Kerem Ernur began his musical journey with piano lessons under Natali Chantrushvili, chief accompanist at the opera house of his hometown, Samsun. Although he began studying the piano relatively late, at the age of twelve, he made his concerto debut at fifteen with the Ilkadim Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D major.

He has since appeared as a soloist with orchestras in Turkey and abroad. Notable performances include Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor with the Eskişehir Büyükşehir Belediyesi Symphony Orchestra and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue at Miry Concert Hall in Ghent.

During his musical development, he worked with several distinguished musicians, including Selman Ada, Johan Schmidt, Yoonie Han, Irina Kherj, and Wayman Chin. During his time in the United States, he also participated in masterclasses with Peter Serkin and Rafał Blechacz.

Kerem Ernur is a laureate of several international competitions, having received first prizes at the 11th Pera Competition in Turkey, the Musical Fireworks Competition in Baden-Württemberg (Germany), the 5th Stockholm International Music Competition (Sweden), and the 2nd Long Island Scholarship Competition in the United States.

He began his undergraduate studies at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Boston and later continued and completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, graduating with Great Distinction.

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of renowned pianist and pedagogue Valentina Igoshina, he has performed in numerous prestigious festivals and venues, including Flagey (Studio 4) and the Musée Horta in Brussels, and continues to perform across Europe.
