Born out of a passion for tango, Cellule 133a has gradually opened up to a wide range of artistic expressions, becoming a space for encounters, creativity, and exchange. Today, the venue hosts an eclectic programme where forró, swing, flamenco, tango, and contemporary dance meet alongside theatre, French chanson, classical music, and many other artistic disciplines. For the third consecutive year, Cellule 133a welcomes the Musique Femmes Festival as one of its cultural partners.

At the heart of Saint-Gilles, the Maison du Peuple is a vibrant cultural and community hub where music, theatre, dance, exhibitions, conferences, and community projects come together. Rooted in a rich history and remarkable architecture, it offers an open and inclusive programme that fosters encounters between artists, organisations, and audiences.

The Lycée Intégral Roger Lallemand is a new secondary school located in Saint-Gilles. It pays tribute to Roger Lallemand, a Belgian lawyer and prominent political figure known for his commitment to fundamental rights and individual freedoms. Co-author of the law decriminalising abortion in Belgium and a key contributor to the adoption of the euthanasia law, he left a lasting mark on the country’s history through his dedication to social progress and human rights.
